IMINT Image Intelligence AB (Imint) announces that Thomas Sporrong has been hired as Head of Business Development and takes up the position on February 1, 2019. Thomas Sporrong becomes part of the company’s management team and will lead the work of taking Imint’s product family Vidhance into new market segments.
Thomas Sporrong has almost 16 years of experience from technical and commercial roles in the software industry and most recently comes from IAR Systems where he worked with strategic sales development. During his time at IAR Systems, Thomas Sporrong has been sales manager and regional manager for the EMEA market and has successfully worked with technical sales and was responsible for building and leading a global team of Field Application Engineers (FAEs).
Thomas Sporrong holds a master’s degree in computer science and a university degree in electronics, both from Mälardalen University in Västerås. Thomas Sporrong has extensive experience of international business and the commercial and technical complexity encountered in hardware-related software with large global companies as customers and partners. Thomas Sporrong also has a solid understanding of the industry challenges of both the fast-growing technology companies and larger companies, as well as a deep foundation in scalable product packaging of software.
The company’s management team will be expanded with Thomas Sporrong’s employment to five people, where previously Andreas Lifvendahl (CEO), Jens Ålander (Vice President and CFO), Johan Svensson (Product Director) and Jan Nyrén (Marketing Director) were found.
