Imint signs license agreement with Bytedance for smartphones

IMINT Image Intelligence AB (publ) today signed a licensing agreement with Beijing Bytedance Network Technology Co., Ltd. and subsidiary Beijing Delta Innovation Technology Co., Ltd. The three-year agreement gives the customer the right to include Vidhance video enhancement software in upcoming smartphone launches.

Bytedance Network Technology Co., Ltd., founded in 2012, headquartered in Beijing, is one of China’s largest Internet companies, globally best known for the brand and video app TikTok. The agreement with Imint is aimed at the subsidiary Beijing Delta Innovation Technology Co., Ltd, which develops innovative smartphones and among other things, has purchased brand and core technology from Smartisan. Initially, the license agreement covers only core functions such as video stabilization and dynamic motion blur reduction from the Vidhance product family. The agreement runs for three years and also includes a smaller part for Software Development Kit integration, support and maintenance.
